I am greatful for this day, 'coz if not for this day, several years ago,I wouldn't have got such a wonderful person in my life!!Yes!! This day is the day my sweetheart was born.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY RAVI!!
What a wonderful husband you are!
I love you in every way.
Just look how we've gotten this far,
and getting better every day.
You mean the world to me
and yet so much more.
Here's hoping your birthday
will be one you'll adore.
This year it has become even more special as Ravi is entering another important role in his life...FATHERHOOD!!It was SUNDAY! what more can I ask for?? Very special isn't it??
The day started of with a series of phone calls from nears and dears wishing him and blessing him for his birthday.
With him busy talking on the phone, I started preparing the lunch for the day.
We could have had a treat in a wonderful restaurant. But unfortunately, these days as I am in my third trimester, I am unable to have meals outside home. The spicy food outside doesn't do any good for my health.
Plus, Ravi always prefers to have home food.
So I made lunch at home. The combinations might seem a little absurd. But to me the only thing that mattered, was Ravi's favourites.
So Lunch menu was made.
The menu was as follows:
- Sweet of the day: Kesari
- Sundal
- Brinjal curry : Ravi always longed for Brinjal curry for quite sometime now. So made it Exclusively for him.Not for me!!!
- Moar Kulambhu : Another favourite dish of Ravi's.
- Appalam & Thamarai thandu fry.
- Kothamalli Thuvayal.
Having had this wonderful feast at home,"undha mayakkam" nu solluvanga illa??? That's what happened exactly!! Ravi was too tired to do anything further!! (LOL)
Evening, we headed to his collegue's home to share the sweet and sundal.
After that, we all went to the Lakshmi Ganapathy Temple in San Jose. We had a wonderful darshan at the temple.
