Madurai Idli / Khushboo Idli |
Ingredients:
- Idly rice 2 cups
- Methi seeds 1/2 Tsp
- Urad dha 1 & ½ cup
- Sago/Sabudana 1/2 cup
- Salt to taste
- Cooking soda ¼ tsp (optional)
Method
- Soak rice,methi & dhal together & sago separately for 4 hrs.
- Grind everything together with salt to a smooth batter.
- Leave it to ferment overnight.
- Before making idly mix cooking soda to the batter.
- Rest for 5 minutes.
- Make idlys as usual.
